The JNANA DEEP ENGLISH SCHOOL was founded 1988. Primary education is the most important phase of a Child's education and Smt. Vimala Shankar's intention was to setup a Primary School that provides top notch and tendered, nurturing Primary Education to young, at their most impressionable age. Today, Jnana Deep English School is a benchmark School in the Old Bangalore area, boasting of a blend of energetic and experienced staff members and infrastructure that is unparalleled and ahead of any other school in the area. The School is backed by a compassionate and highly experienced, pro-active Management whose only mission is to ensure that our children get the most fulfilling and value based education that they richly deserve.
The Institutions have witnessed steady growth over the last 60 years and today we boast of a strength of 1500+ students and 75 staff members. Founder Madam’s objective was to provide quality, all round education to Girl children and the lesser privileged sections of Society. Her objective remains the guiding light and path for all our Institutions, even to this day. She always wanted the best for her children, whether it was the infrastructure or the staff. The present infrastructure in our Institutions bear testimony to this fact.
Over the years, Founder Madam expanded her vision. “Education is not merely about reading books and passing exams” she used to say. She envisioned a situation where a student would come into the Society as a Toddler and would leave the Society with a Bachelors Degree. This vision resulted in the birth of Jnana Deep English Primary School. The idea behind this was to provide a consistent, familiar and homely learning environment for any student that enrolls and passes through our Institutions.
